Cash checks.
Process deposits and withdrawals for members in person or by mail.
Process loan payments.
Issue gift cards and money orders as needed.
Answer routine member inquiries.
Process stop payment forms on checks.
Print out statements if requested.
Accurately and promptly settle cash drawer at end of day.
Maintain a neat and orderly workstation.
Accurately process all transactions.
Maintain and secure custody of cash.
Maintain member account confidentiality.
Follow check cashing policies and procedures for withdrawing funds.
Contribute to the success of the department and organization by being a reliable team member.
Maintain professional standards for behavior, personal appearance and work area.
Comply with Bank Secrecy Act and other regulatory requirements.
Other duties as required or may be assigned from time to time.
Identify member needs and sell all appropriate services and products offered by the credit union.
Service members' needs, maintaining a high level of excellence.
Cooperate and coordinate with other staff members to meet members' needs.
Cross-sell credit union products (i.
e.
GAP, Credit Cards, Loans) and services to members by identifying a financial need and communicating the features and benefits of each product and service Accurately process all transaction paperwork.
Provide members with information on deposit accounts, rates, service charges, restrictions, and other relevant account information.
Research problems and responds to member inquiries on account status, debit card or check fraud, automatic check holds, courtesy pay, loan adjustments, and other related issues.
1 year of credit union or bank teller, cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
