Superintendent:
The Plant Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the plant. They will be in charge of the day-to-day management of people and resources associated with the plant and coordinate the activities to ensure production in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The superintendent will spend time managing employees and planning for productivity. The primary goal of the superintendent will be to make sure the plant runs smoothly. Ensure procedures are followed and coordinate schedule with the project management team.
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in all phases of a plant operation. Reporting directly to Director of operations, prepares operation schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality meet specifications. Requires 7-10 years of experience in structural steel fabrication industry. Knowledge of vessels is a plus. Requires 5
years of management or superintendent exp. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Will manage Tomball Shop only. Will have up to 5 direct reports and 60-70 indirect reports. Computer skills: MS Office
Salary Range: $85K-$100KEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
