Up for sale is a gem ofa vintage raised pillar Trout reel. The reel is unbranded. However, I believeit was made by Hendryx as a Trade reel back in the early 1900's making thisreel near 100 years old. This small brass nickelplated reel features direct drive operation, a spool tension button (to controlbacklash), all metal construction, a back sliding "clicker," and a neat bonecolored handle knob that turns freely. The reel is in VERY GOODcondition overall, is bright and shiny, very clean, has been lubricated, and operates very smoothly . There is minor signs of tarnishing. The gear ratio is 1.75:1, the reelmeasures 1¾" in diameter, 1 3/8" wide, and it weighs approximately 4.9 oz. Line capacity is 60yds. This vintage reel makes for a superbcollectible, a fine man-cave display but is a great vintage reel to fish within fresh water. S&H is a flat $6.95.
